Bernard Morey, Puligny Montrachet Truffiere Vintage:2001 An unusually high toned nose displays other_regions_australia An unusually high toned nose displays notes of cranberry and raspberry that combine with very supple and round middle weight flavors that possess good freshness and an underlying sense of tension on the delicious if not particularly complex finish two parcels suffered some frost damage that needed to be carefully sorted out Really a beautiful wine with elegance the 2001 Truffières is finer and purer still with simply exquisite white fruit and citrus aromas that lead to flavors that are equally suffused with an intense mineral stoniness
